My name is Kim Tupas and I'm a tiny illustrator with bad posture and a shrimp allergy. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2021 with a BA in illustration. I live in the suburbs of Chicago, but you can also find me online as shrimpy scamp, where I pretend to be cooler than I am in real life.

There are so many things that inspire me! To name a few: cartoons, kawaii culture, toy design, and video games.  I love designing fun characters who live in bright, colorful worlds that make people feel curious, excited, and maybe a little nostalgic. I aim to recreate feelings of excitement at everyday things that little kids tend to feel.

When I'm not drawing, you might find me shopping at thrift stores, sipping on caramel bubble tea with extra pudding, or staying up past bedtime playing on my 3DS.
